HI myopia and thank you so much. Yes literally the walk to the office was longer than the interview it seemed like it was 60 seconds but it my have been 2 or 3 minutes lol. It was an office in Chicago, very friendly lady.

Thats awesome. I have a friend who is about to go to her interview on the 18th of November and she is so worried. Her biggest fear is that the interview came so fast. She only applied in September! Ill tell her how fast you got approved and even though it may not be the same for her...at least it will give her some solace at this time.

Yes we were extremely nervous as well because ours too came so quickly from when we filed, (beginning of August), we read that it takes months to a year for this all to be processed so we were concerned too. I guess it all depends on what mood the officer may be in as well. We were complete stress heads for that entire month getting everything ready on the check list adding things to our scrap book, and to be honest, all our officer asked was for our passports and if my husband had a criminal background, he does have a military background with the UK I dont know if that helps or not, but the best advice I can give to anyone, is to just relax and be confident.

Congratulations on your approval. We got approved last week in Chicago as well - similar timeline (I was already in the US under a L1A visa - which is a dual-intent visa, but other than that - similar situation). Our interview was longer - not because the interviewer asked us questions, but because he was so chatty. He talked about his vacation plans, and lots of random stuff. Super nice, and we got called in before our scheduled time so no waiting.
