I got my biometrics on 09/28 and got the email on 10/2 (at 1am!!) that my case had been transferred to the local office. I called the 1-800 line on Monday 10/4 to ask if they had scheduled my interview but they said they had no information other than what was emailed to me. That same afternoon I got the interview letter. For me, from the date of the biometrics to the interview date it is exactly 6 weeks. But of course, this varies from office to office.
