Waiting for a Visa Interview date ?

Hi VJ Family!

I am waiting for an Interview date from NVC. I am in F2A category (PD 05/2008) and my case completed on 07/27/10. My consulate is Colombo, Sri Lanka. I didn’t get an Interview date for NOVEMBER. I spoke to NVC and they want me to wait till November 2nd week. It’s been almost 8weeks since my case completed.

How long do I have to wait till I get an INTERVIEW DATE? Can I contact the US embassy in SRI LANKA for any updates on when they can schedule an Interview for me?

PLEASE ADVICE ME.... your input will greatly appreciated.

Not yet. waiting for December interview date

when did your case completed?

Mine has not been completed yet. I mailed the DS-230 on saturday. Should be completed next week.

is it ok now? coz its way too long for an interview sched... you should email/call nvc abt your case and maybe call the embassy as well. do all the means why there is such a long delay...
