So I called DOS to confirm if Delhi at least looked at our file after submitting the additional proof. I find out that my petition has expired and they decided to send our case back to NVC today. What can I do at this point? I have not told my fiance yet, I am feeling so gloomy . Thanks in advance.

If the K1 petition has been declared expired there is little you can do. It is dead. You can file a new petition or get married and file a Cr1 . There is no bringing life back to an expired petition.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
