validity of visa is?

hi! after the payment of visa of the petitioner, do you have the idea whats next? and how long is the validity of the visa?

This question makes no sense. A visa is valid from the date of issue until the date of expiration. The time period depends on the visa. You posted in the K3 visa forum but we're not aware of any K3 visas being actually issued since February. It's a dead visa category.

hi

usually, the beneficiary pays the VISA APPLICATION FEES in the foreign country

and

the petitioner, USCitizen, pays the fees for the PETITION.

who is who, and what is what?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Darnell,

The OP hasn't been back to clarify anything but DID post in the K3 forum. For any spouse visa currently available, the visa application fee will be paid to NVC, not abroad. For other than a spouse, your statement is correct.

There is a time line function that you can fill out that will help others answer your questions. What type(s) of visas did you apply for, are you a US citizen or here on another visa type. Every visa has different paths. give us some more information please

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

If a true K-3 visa -

and the VISA fees were just paid in that foreign country -

expect an interview, soonish.

Don't forget to get the medical done.

-----

or

hey - are you confused? you mean you just filed the two I-130 petitions and included the fee payments ?

which is it?

What's what?

Still need more info- ie did you become a citizen in March 2009, file for your wife's visa, or what? If you filed for your wife's visa then, it is overdue...

- When did you file for the visa? What form did you use (I-130/ I-129F etc).

- Did you get any correspondance from USCIS yet (usually called NOA1 and NOA2)? If so when?

- Did your wife have an interview yet? if so when, and what was the outcome?

I'm terribly sorry - I can't figure out 'where you are' in this process.

Please review http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/EZGuideSpouse

and then let us know 'where you are' from that Guide?

Please?

Purty Please?

Yes, we need more information but please stop confusing issues further by referring to "file for the visa". US Citizens do not file for visas. The file a petition for spouse or a petition for fiancee etc. "Visas" are "applied for" after petitions are approved.

I have combined a couple of closely related topics here. If the OP would fill in some detail in timeline and profile, it would help the responding members to provide better answers.
