Hello! How are you guys doing? I am from the Philippines and a newbie here in visa journey forum. I'm wondering if you guys can help me filling out an I-94 form since I will be leaving for the states soon through a K1 visa entry. I have two given names which is reflected in all of my identifications such as passport, birth certificates etc. but worried that the I-94 form doesn't have enough space for my two Given names. How should I go about it? I heard that whatever info you have stated in your I-94 will be reflected in your Social Security Info. I just don't want to have future problems that my records don't complement each other. HELP!! :( Thanks in advance! God bless!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I have 2 given names also. Under first name, I just wrote the first of my 2 given names on the I-94.

What appears on your SSN is what you put in the form.

Later when you fill out your SSN, you have the option of filling it out in Philippine naming convention

First Name: Two Given Names

Middle Name: Your mother's maiden name

Last Name: Your last name (as it appears on your birth certificate)

Or American Naming convention

First Name: 1st of your 2 given names

Middle Name: 2nd of your 2 given names

Last Name: your last name (as it appears on your birth certificate)

Whatever naming convention you decide to use, stick with it.

Here is what the I-94 form looks like: http://www.visajourney.com/gallery/albums/Immigration/I94/immigration1.jpg

I agree with "marriedtomrg" that what goes on your SSN depends on what you write on the application form when you go and get your SSN.

** moved from "K1 Process & Procedures" to General Immigration Related Discussion as this isn't a question about the K1 process, more a general Immigration "question"/need for definition**
