But this works only for those who already have an interview date, right??? Because after NVC assigns an interview date, they transfer your case to the US consulate in your country. I don't think any case is going to be transfered before we get the interview date so let's first wait for an interview date.

the case is tranfered to the embassy if the case was aproved to expedite so the NVC doesnt assign the appoinment but the embassy in the beneficiary's country.

I am gonna clarify what I wrote, I am sorry.

the NVC transfers your case after SIF to the embassy in all the cases, although, in normal processing NVC checks with the embassy in your country availability and NVC is in charge of scheduling your appoinment, which is different in expedited cases, cus the emabassy is the one which sets the appointment.

well, for some embassies is very fast to get appoinments after you get your SIF but in others as Colombia takes months

Luck to everyone and Cannot wait to see the first December appointment!!!!!! :)

I called NVC just now and the operator told me they already started giving out schedules for December interviews. I asked if she can schedule my husband, but she says NO, and to call on of after Nov. 17 to see if he was given a schedule or not. How can I ask them to give him an interview schedule?

Hi kim, there is nothing you can do about it, we are all waiting for an interview date and it is not up to the operators in assigning the interview date but it is everything based on how busy your embassy is and how many casese from your country have been aproved before yours. So i think you as all us have to wait few more days and hopefully we will get a december interview. :goofy::goofy:
