Wife just called....APPROVED!!!! (its the 22nd in india)

Oh my heart is racing and my face hurts from grinning! Im so happy!

They didnt ask my wife much. I think they threw her a trick question. They asked her when I moved to the U.S... answer is that i was born and raised in the U.S. Wife said the american lady became happy after she gave the answer. Then just asked what I did for a living and wanted to see few wedding pictures. Thats all.

Sorry EVERYONE for the late congratulations but I have been on vacation!!! haha Congratulations to all of the Dec Interviewee's who were approved. Good luck in finding a flight to the USA for your partners. Its a busy time and I hope you get seats easily.

It amazes me how fast things change or should I say how much they change. Looking at the interview list I realized I only knew a few of the members. :unsure::blush: Guess many have moved on. Which is a good thing I guess... Here's to a great 2011!!! :thumbs:

Count me in! Got visa approved on December 23, 2010! :) (Philippines)

Visa paid Sept 30 - Visa on hand Dec30! After 3 grueling months, it was all worth it! My visa journey has finally come to an end! Thank you VJers for all the insights and help. Thank you to all those people who assisted me from NVC, St. Lukes & American Embassy Mla esp the CO who approved my visa, for making our long time dream come true but ofcourse, Thank you God for this wonderful blessing as year 2010 ends. Happy New Year everyone, God bless us all!

i dont know good news or bad news but today my wife went for interview and embassy put her on AP with token and green paper but keep the passport

Dear visa applicant:

Your ease has been temporarily refused for further administrative processing. We cannot give you a definite date when the processing will be completed, but the average time is approximately 2 -3 months. There is no maximum time limit.

When your case is approved and if we already have your passports, we will put the visas into them. If we do not have your passports, we will call you to request your passports., so that we may put the visas into them. When you are requested to return your passports. please send them as soon as possible by any courier or by registered mail to the following address:

Once we receive your passports. we will return them with the visas pasted in them to the American Express Courier Services office nearest to your home address. (please refer to the list of offices on the back of this letter.) You will need your Pink token (already given to you at the time ofyour int~rview),this sheet an~ your National ID card in order to pick up your passports, so please hold onto this document. You should expect your passports to arrive at the American Express office approximately between one to two weeks after your p~sportsare received by the consular section.

We regret that we cannot issue your visas today, but we will do everything we can to ensure that your case is handled as quickly as possible. Please keep us informed if your contact information (such as your phone nwnber) changes. You may contact us with any questions about your case at PAKIYlnfo@State.goy. Alternatively, you can eall us between 12:30 and 15:30 at 051 208 2700.
