congrats loto! im happy for you. i just called nvc,no interview schedule for my husband yet. :( so sad,id just probably go to sleep and deal with all trauma patients tonight to keep everything off my mind. :( been waiting for so long.

@HappyHeart and Clav: I don't think Philippines started giving out schedules yet, which I don't get! Next week's the last week, unless they work differently from other countries. I haven't heard from anybody from Philippines that got their interview dates for December! I called yesterday and the operator said to me the same script they've been reading since 1st of November!

I must confess I am so scared! I read all the reviews and many said that women who go alone get denied, but the thing is that my husband cant come not because he doesnt want but because we just knew on friday so he cant live his job like that, they said no. :(. I hope to find a really nice consul who asks me for the proofs and asks me questions to show him my marriage is for real. :(

Thanks for the comfort, but here In colombia, the petitioner is allowed to go with the beneficiary. well, I am gonna have all the proof I have and just said that I got the appointment on friday and my husbad didnt get permission from his work for the short time to tell his boss. So, no thing to do. I think I am all set, just going to medicals and pick up my migratory ceertificate and my album full of pics on tuesday night, and I am all set. but it is scary anyway. let's hope and pray God. :)

Wishing you the best of luck at your interview.

I am not familiar with your consulate but you can only do the best you can. Explain that your husband did want to attend but was not able to get the time off work. Hopefully they will understand and it will all work out.

Good luck!
