i guess we have to wait its our 8 weeks so im positive we got appointment now kim 11

I'm hoping we'll get it before this week ends. When was your case completed BTW?

I-130

12/22/09: I-130 receipt date (Sent by lawyer to CSC)

8/20:10: Approved/NOA2

9/03/10: NVC # generated, gave e-mail adds

9/08/10: Received IV/AOS fee bill

9/09/10: Paid AOS/IV

9/13/10: Mailed completed AOS, enetered into the system on 9/14

9/19/10: Mailed completed DS-230, entered into the system on 9/22

10/13/10: CASE COMPLETE!!!

04/06/11: Case upgraded from F2A to CR-1

05/03/11: Final review completed

05/17/11: Interview date scheduled!

05/20/11: Forwarded case to USEM

06/10/11: Interview - APPROVED!!!

08-11-2010: USEM received the case.
10-11-2010: Called USEM, need to send ASAP DS-230 and DS-2100
12-11-2010: emailed DS-230 and DS-2100
12-11-2010: Received Interview date
16-11-2010: Medical Tests
17-11-2010: Interview: APPROVED
23-11-2010: Passport received :)

03-12-2010: POE Miami- Washington D.C (DCA).
10-12-2010: Applied for replacement of S.S
17-12-2010: Received S.S card in the mail 7 days after applied for the replacement
20-12-2010: Received Welcome letter in the mail (Receipt date: Dec 14th)17 days after POE
27-12-2010: Green Card Received 24 days after POE

great !!! Congrats :)

my case was received at the embassy yesterday, by chance someone knows how long will it take for them to contact me, I know it is soon but I am so antsy to know my interview date!! I emailed them but no anwer yet. I may call tomorrow from 2 to 4 and see what they tell me. I will keep you updated. and for those whi have interviews soon, get everything ready and good luck to everyone.

They usually assign the interview date before they send out your case file to the embassy. How do you know it was received at the embassy? Did you hear that on the AVR? if that is the case then you should speak to a supervisor at the NVC. Tell him or her that you did not receive your interview date. Good luck.

02-25-2010 : Received NVC case number, but NVC is closed, so I can't give an operator our emails. :-(

02-27-2010 : Jumped the gun and emailed the VJ version of the DS 3032. Who knows what will happen :-)

03-01-2010 : Gave the operator both emails...waiting on DS3032 kit

03-02-2010 : Received DS3032 Kit; Resent DS3032 (just in case), Received AOS bill.

03-03-2010 : Paid AOS and IV bills; both are IN PROCESS

03-03-2010 : VJ email version of the DS3032 accepted (It was the one that was sent on 02-27-2010)

03-11-2010 : Both AOS + IV showed paid but processed on 03-05-2010 :-)

03-12-2010 : Mailed AOS packet. Waiting on my procrastinating hubby to send me his IV docs :-(

03-15-2010 : AOS signed for by St. Laurent at 10:03 a.m.

07-19-2010 : Received IV documents from hubby (Finally)

07-20-2010 : Mailed IV packet

07-21-2010 : IV Packet signed for by Peters at 10:15 a.m. (St. Laurent and Desmond are probably on vacation lol)

07-26-2010 : NVC starts processing IV Packet

08-20-2010 : Called NVC and was told that we received a "stupid" RFE on 08-18-2010

09-03-2010 : RFE sent to the NVC today....SIF please come quickly.

09-07-2010 : RFE signed for by Desmond at 10:16 a.m.

09-10-2010 : NVC acknowledges receipt of the RFE

09-30-2010 : SIF

10-01-2010 : Case complete as per NVC AVR

10-05-2010 : Interview date assigned for November 29, 2010 at 7:00 a.m. Approved

Hi thanks for your reply, my case was expedited so NVC send it to the USEM and now they have to schedule the appointment, I am in that process already, hoping to get an interview soon, you can look my timeline in the signature. thanks :)

9/17? I'm sure you'll get December although now I'm not sure I will in that pace. How come you didn't get a November interview? Did you get a RFE or something?

most f2a have to wait 8 weeks and it all depends on the load of the embassy i think kim....

Oh wow! :o I know a couple of F2A filers that got their cases competed on 9/13 and 9/18, they both got their interview appointments this November. 1st week of November, if I remember it right. :blink:

well, it depends the consulate, for instance colombia one is way back so it is basically hard to get an interview soon, it takes from 6 to 8 weeks. but India one is very fast, I have seen many people from there getting interview soon. It depends on the country :)

sunny29 I think you should call them because i got my interview date on nov 4 also, and i recieved the email with the interview letter on nov 8(monday)

I CALL NVC SAY WAIT OR WE CAN SEND U AGAIN ITS TAKE 30 DAYS :bonk: VERY FUNNY JUST WAITING TO GTR INTERVIEW LETTER IF NOT I WILL FLY TO BOSTON AND SHOW MY :dance:

I will send the docs tomorrow, the DS 230 and the Ds 2100 and OMG I cannot wait to write in big letters my appointment date!! :), I hate waiting!!!I know within one week, hope USEM in Colombia is fast!! Good luck to all people who are waiting for interview! :):thumbs:

What???????????????????????????

In 30 days you don't need your interview letter because the interview will be done by december 2 :wacko::wacko::wacko: .

Do they usually correspond you by email or just by regular mail?
