How long to get NOA and check cash

I have sent my AOS package, I-485, EAD application and I-131 all together to Chicago lockbox.

No news after my package reached there. its almost 12 days now.. Even the checks are not cashed

and no sign of NOA, is there anyway i can call and figure out.

I was wondering the same thing actually. We sent ours last Wednesday and they recieved it on Friday night. Granted it's only been a few days, I wondered how long we should not worry before we start worrying! Let me know if you find out. All that money in my account is tempting! Hopefully we wont have to wait to long.

They were a bit slow on mine too but I would just be patient, they'll cash your checks and your NOA1 will arrive soon

Edited to say I mean a bit slow in that I seemed to be a couple days longer than the average on the timelines. Still not as long as you though, but I wouldn't be worrying yet

Do they cash the check after sending NOA letter or cash before that..

Hey everyone!! I wouldn't get too worried just yet. They have been slowing down on getting NOA1's out lately. I have a feeling you will be getting one this week! If you don't I would startt o get concerned and call. Our check was not cashed until a little over a week after they received the petition so I think that varies.

I was lucky; I got my NOA by mail eight days after them receiving the AOS package and they cashed the check ten days later. Look at my timeline or signature has a synopsis of my timeline. But now I am in a holding pattern!

hi All,

Quick update, I just recieved a call from my husband from home, that we got our NOA for I485, I765 and I131 all in mail..So it took 12 days in my case, nOt bad
