I received my biometrics letter, with a 11/3 appointment. I took a chance and got it done today. The lady at the front desk said it was ok. It took approximately 30 minutes. While doing the fingerprints the lady was very friendly. I asked her if it took about a week for FBI to return the check and she said no, it's done immediately. After taking my picture, she showed me a yellow camera on the screen, hit send and in about 5 seconds, it turned green with a check mark, and she said it was passed and now with my case. I should hear from them in 2 - 4 weeks.

09/18/2010 USPS delievery notification received - application has arrived at Arizona Lockbox

09/23/2010 Received SMS and email. Application has been received

09/24/2010 $675.00 Check cashed

09/27/2010 NOA

10/02/2010 Biometrics Letter arrived. Appt is on 10/14/2010

10/04/2010 Early Biometrics/Walk-in -- completed

10/14/2010 Actual Biometrics Appt

12/06/2010 Email notification from USCIS, Case transferred to local office

12/08/2010 Interview Letter arrived in mail

01/20/2011 Scheduled Interview

02/14/2011 Received Oath Letter for Feb 25th but had to request a change to accomodate travel plans

04/28/2011 Scheduled Oath

04/28/2011 Now a US CITIZEN!!!!

Hi,

So did you just show up at the USCIS local office??

I got the NOA about 10 days ago, but I will be out of town the time I got the appointment for. I returned the NOA right away to reschedule. Even though it says on the NOA that they would provide me with a new date and time upon receipt I have not heard of them. I am getting worried. I am thinking about just showing up tomorrow morning and see what happens... it's just 10 blocks from my house so I won't waste much time even if they deny me.

LOTS of people just show up with success. They can only say no.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

You didn't send the original bio notice back, did you? Because i think they won't let you do the bio without it. :no:

Yes, I just showed up with the letter... on the SAME DAY I received it in the mail. Do you have a copy of the NOA?
