Sent my RFE to CSC last Tuesday, Priority mail 2 to 3 day delivery, with delivery conformation and

it still hasn't arrived there. I called the post service and was informed that the 2 to 3 days delivery was

not guaranteed, and could take up to 14 days. So the Priority Mail which cost $4.05, is the same as First class mail, which cost .39. Seriously if I knew that it would have take this long I would have spent the

14.00 and over nighted it.

so sorry to hear, the pacakage will get there. I have always had problems with USPS. What I was returning my RFEs what I did was sent it regular first class mail -the first one apparently have not gogtten there so the second one was sent regular mail but certified. That way I got a delivery confirmation on it , just my .01.

I do not wish to share any information about this dead end journey.........I have reached my final destination on this train, and it is time for me to get off.

They just say " up to 14 days" to cover their Azz. It will be there before Wednesday I bet.

I just sent in my RFE this morning, paid the 14 bucks, and it comes with tracking conformation and insurance up to 100 dollars. The whole huge package cost me 22.30 , but my life is in that package, so I did'nt care if it cost me a hundred, and I am poor folk.

Sorry to hear that yours is in limbo. Hopefully, it will get there safe.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I know how hard it is to be patient, but your package will arrive, probably in the next day or so. They tell you 14 days, but that's the maximum it could take.

Good luck.

Yep I really think that Priority Mail thing is a freakin scam. I know people that have used it several times and the delivery times have been the same as normal First Class.

Qiao - 108 days - Funny that you mentioned that... I have also heard that you should save your money and not use priority because, more times than not, the shipment will arrive the same time as first class.

This has been my experience as well. Including ordering merchandise online. "Expidited" shipping seems to take just as long as if you choose "regular" shipping. Big scam in my book!

Don't worry waiting . . it will probably arrive in 2 days and this will be the final, missing piece to your I-129F puzzle. Here's hoping your approval comes before the end of the week and you can be finished with the USCIS nightmare - you've had the worst time of all of us and you have been through ENOUGH already!!!

Hang in there, my friend...It'll get there. Like so many others on this thread, I'm of the opinion it will take far less than fourteen days to arrive at the service center. Buck up little Buckaroo!! :):):)

January 2004: Met Laurent at the Bibliothèque nationale in Paris

February 2004: We became an actual couple

January 29th, 2006: I left France to return to the United States--AWFUL to say goodbye!

June 2006: Finally convinced Laurent that a K-1 visa would be more time-effective than trying to get an H-1

August 1st, 2006: The K-1 petition is finally in the mail and on its way to Nebraska...WooHoooo!! And yes, I remembered to attach the check! :-)

August 3rd, 2006: USPS online tracking shows that my petition (sent certified) was received at the NSC at 5:05am

August 14th, 2006: NOA1 received USPS!! (I-129F recv'd at CSC: 8/4; NOA date: 8/10; last touched: 8/11)

October 2nd, 2006: I MISTAKENLY thought we had an approval...False alarm...Back to waiting...

October 3rd, 2006: TOUCHED!!

October 4th, 2006: REALLY AND TRULY APPROVED!!! Email notification lists 10/3 as the NOA2 date.

Later that same day: TOUCHED...AGAIN! Hope that means I'm in a cozy box and moving to NVC this week...

October 10th, 2006: Received official NOA2 via snail mail.

October 19th, 2006: Case received at NVC!! AWESOME!!

October 20th, 2006: Case forwarded to Paris!! DHL says two shipments were headed that way. Must be in there somewhere...

October 27th, 2006: Received official receipt letter from NVC via USPS.
