where'd u guys read the AOS fee increase? the USCIS website just updated the I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status link on 10/21/10 and the filing fees are still the same, $930 for filing and $80 for biometrics.

I really dont like that people dont check their facts before posting stuff here, the increment for AOS will be $55 more and not $700 that is from $930 to

I don't like it either so please make sure you are 100% correct before posting... you are neglecting to mention ALL fees, this confuses people.

The I-485 fee is $985 (up from $930) like you said, BUT there is also a MANDATORY biometrics fee of $85 (up from $80) with a total difference of $60.

The I-131 and I-765 fees are still waived when filed concurrently (or before AOS is approved).

OP - Fee will be $1070 after November 23rd. This means if they process/receive your file after this date, your file may be returned unless the new fee is paid.

Not that it applies to you, but there is another form called "I-130" that some people (not on K visas) need to pay to adjust status.. that's why some people on other forums will think the fee is different.
