hello,

since July 2010 i sent my case to adjust my situation with case I-485 then i did the biometric .and until now i didn't receive nothing about my green card.

1-should i pass an interview?

2-how long it takes to get my green card?

3-what are the process after getting the first green card, what does mean 2 years ??

The processing time for an I-485 application to be adjudicated is usually 4-6 months. Some people may or may not have an interview (not sure how that works) If you're approved after your interview it usually takes 30 days from the time of your approval to receive your GC. The 2 years are for conditional green card holders; if you are married for less than 2 years you will receive a conditional GC and within the 90 day period before your first GC expire you apply for removal of conditions. I recommend you to make an infopass appointment or at least call the 800 number (talk to a "live" drone) and ask about it.

If you do/did have an interview and for whatever reason you fail to appear (you never got a letter or whatever it may be) they will consider the case abandoned... so stay on top of it!

PS: if you did miss your appointment, you have 30 days (or something like that) from the date of the appointment to appeal the abandoned decision...
