Any guesses as to how long before the consulate recieves the petition from NVC. How long should I have my fiance wait before he attempts to retreive his Packet 3/4?

Hi Neya,

My husband's petition left NVC on Aug. 15th and it arrived today at the embassy in Gambia. We are going to wait until Monday week before he goes to Gambia to get to pick-up Packet 3. Your petition has probably arrived too.

11-13-06 Recieved NOA1 by mail for AOS/EAD

11-29-06 Biometrics Appt.

01-29-07 Received EAD card in the mail

01-30-07 EAD approval letter sent

07-10-07 Interview for Greencard "APPROVED"

07-16-07 Received Welcome To America Letter

07-17-07 Card Production Order email

07-23-07 Received Green Card in mail (Finished with immigration until 4-10-09)

I-751 Timeline

04-10-09 Filed I-751

04-17-09 USCIS received I-751

04-29-09 Check cleared the bank

05-02-09 NOA Received in mail(receipt date 4/17/09)

05-11-09 Received Biometric appt letter in the mail(appt. is 5/22/09)

08-28-09 Received approval letter for Removal of Conditions(finished with immigration until we file for Citizenship).

N-400 Timeline

02-28-11 USCIS received N-400

03-04-11 Checked cleared the bank

03-07-11 NOA Received in mail (receipt date 2/28/11)

we waited a week and a half after we received the letter from NVC that it was sent.

06/06/05 I-130 NOA1

06/14/05 K-3 NOA1

07/08/05 k-3 NOA2

07/22/05 K-3 leaves NVC to Lagos

08/08/05 Hubby picks up interview packet from embassy

11/17/05 K-3 interview (denied, C.O refused to take co-sponsor for k-3)

12/16/05 I-130 NOA2

01/03/06 NVC assigns case number

02/15/06 Case complete (thank you James Shortcuts- only 6 weeks!)

04/19/06 tired of waiting, filed k-3 #2 ( petition is still lost in oblivion)

09/11/06 NVC scheduled CR-1 interview/ on to Lagos (thank God after 7 months of waiting!)

10/14/06 Interview date (success!)

10/18/06 Hubby goes to pick up visa- not ready ( ugh what's going on!)

10/19/06 Visa in hand ( thank you God!)

10/29/06 Together at last :)

Whole process 1 year and 4 months
