Dear All,

thank you in helping me in part one of my questions.

Now I still have some confusion regarding I-130 & G325A

I'm the Egyptian spouse, my wife is the petitioner applying from Egypt.

let us begin:

I-130:

1- C.17: List husband/Wife of your relative [which is me]...so should I write down her data [i.e. Petitioner name & relationship as a "Wife"?]

2- C.22. If your relative is not eligible for adjustment of status....

I think this question addressed for relatives whom inside the USA.

Hence, for my case I should write N/a in the given 4 fields...Right?

Now regarding G325A:

We got married and lived in some address somewhere for 11 months, then we moved to another address [in the same city] for 8 months till now]

1- applicants last address outside USA of more than 1 year

Which address to write? non of them were 1 full year.

same address for both of us. right?

2- Last occupation abroad if not shown above [include all information requested above]

I don't understand totally what this question means.

3- This form is submitted in connection with an applicant for

what should I select for my form & my wife's form [knowing that we got married for more than 2 years].

Thank you in Advance

Aha, I forgot last question...after submitting I-130 and get the interview...can my wife travel to the states to visit family while the visa procedures are going on?

Take care everybody

Dear All,

thank you in helping me in part one of my questions.

Now I still have some confusion regarding I-130 & G325A

I'm the Egyptian spouse, my wife is the petitioner applying from Egypt.

let us begin:

I-130:

1- C.17: List husband/Wife of your relative [which is me]...so should I write down her data [i.e. Petitioner name & relationship as a "Wife"?]

Write Not Applicable if you do not have any children with her or in a previous marriage. No need to write your wife's information, that has already been done in Part A in page 1.

2- C.22. If your relative is not eligible for adjustment of status....

I think this question addressed for relatives whom inside the USA.

Hence, for my case I should write N/a in the given 4 fields...Right?

No, the word relative refers to you. You have to write the location of the U.S. Embassy that will process your application on the right, where it says: If your relative is not eligible for adjustment of status, he or she will apply for a visa abroad at the American consular post in:

Now regarding G325A:

We got married and lived in some address somewhere for 11 months, then we moved to another address [in the same city] for 8 months till now]

1- applicants last address outside USA of more than 1 year

Which address to write? non of them were 1 full year.

same address for both of us. right?

Wow...not sure how to answer that...instinct would tell me to put your current address, even though it is less than a year (mainly to show you two have been living in the same residence). However on the I-130, in C-21, it does ask you to list the last address where you two last lived together (and actually currently live together)...but perhaps one of the other members can weigh in/offer their opinion.

2- Last occupation abroad if not shown above [include all information requested above]

I don't understand totally what this question means.

In the table above, the form asks you to list all your jobs from the last 5 years, whether it's domestic or overseas. This question (Last occupation abroad) is asking what your last job overseas was, if it is NOT listed in the table above.

3- This form is submitted in connection with an applicant for

what should I select for my form & my wife's form [knowing that we got married for more than 2 years].

You can either select Other, then in the space provided type I-130/IR1, or tick the box that says Status as Permanent Resident. Either one is correct.

Thank you in Advance

Aha, I forgot last question...after submitting I-130 and get the interview...can my wife travel to the states to visit family while the visa procedures are going on?

Of course, she is a U.S. citizen...unless there are travel restrictions for her in Egypt I am unaware of. At some point in the process she does have to return to the U.S. to establish domicile (or establish that she is making the U.S. a permanent home for you both.)

Take care everybody

Thanks alot for your support,

but I have concern regarding question no C.22

The question Header:

"Complete the information below if your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status"

Hence, we will apply from Egypt & I never went to USA, so I should write N/A

is it right???

Regarding question of last occupation abroad,

If my current job is in Egypt, but some times I travel abraod {with the same company & same job)

in the above part, I write company data (which is in Egypt}, so what should I write? last trip outside?

Thanks

No, it generally refers to jobs you have had outside Egypt as a contract job or a full-time job. If that doesn't apply, just put N/A

Thanks
