We've petitioned for a K-1 Visa. My interview will be in Montreal next month. Do we need to provide most current tax return from the petitioner? I'm not clear about that.

Yes they will want the most current tax return.

I had my interview in Montreal yesterday and they asked me for it. I didn't have it with me, but I had bank account information, pay stubs and the likes. I got approved anyway. Having more documents and not needing them (without going overboard!)is definitely a good idea!

Technically the I-134 only asks you to supply income tax returns IF the petitioner is self-employed. I agree... take it if you can, as it is one form that I suspect can address their concerns pretty completely. I will let you know what my experience is as I do NOT have that paper. I do have the W2 and all the bank, investment, life insurance, work contract etc. I think I should be fine but I would feel much better if I had it.
