After I receive the NOA2, which I hope is soon, What do I need to send to my Fiance for her packet 3 and Packet 4 and Interview? I included copies of my last 3 years tax returns with the 129f, but I didn't do a I-864 Form. Also since I am self employed, I guess I need to send her copies of my bank deposits for the last 12 months and copies of my Real Estate Property Tax valuations, both of which are well above the required income level. So should I send her a I-864 form and fianancial proof now, to save time later? Also, I sent copies of my Birth Certificate and Final Divorce Decree with the 129f, should I send another original with the financial papers? I get mixed signals reading the Forum here. some people say we need these items with the Packet 3, some say if I Preloaded the 129f, that is all that is needed.I just don't want to waste time once we get the NOA2. Thanks for your advice

DS-230 filled out by her. Part 1 filled out and signed, part 2 filled out and not signed. After you get approved you can start calling the NVC for a case number. I was approved October 6, but I have no case number at the NVC yet. You can get shortened version of 3 years tax transcripts by calling the IRS. That's what I did. You will also do the ds3032 affidavit of support. Pay the fee bill I-864 I am not sure on the order here. I think the I864 then the DS-3032 then the DS-230. Good luck get her started on that DS-230. Actually my fiance already has her ds230 filled out, but do I send an I-864 or for Fiance visa do I do the I-134? I was reading the instructions for the I-864 and it said to be used when applying for permanent Resident staus, which I assume is the AOS after we get married. That is why I am asking, I want to send the right thing and I cann't find the link that Darrell posted before to the GZU forms site. got to go, my fiance is now on Skype

No response since Shenzen's response, So here is what I put together. Is this what I need to send my Fiance for her Packet 3, Packet 4, and Interview?

1.Form I-134

2. Tax Returns for 2007,08,09

3. Letters from my banks, showing deposits from the last 12 months.

4. County Property Tax Valuations on the real Estate I own

5. Certified copy of my Birth Certificate

I also sent in 2 and 5 with my 129f, so I don't know if I need to send them again.I also sent in hers and my 325a with the 129f and lots of other things, like pictures, emails, skype log,and passport photos.

So am I missing anything? I really want to get her here, 1st try. Thanks, Bill, Oh and I do know your name is Darnell, but VJ wouldn't let me edit the post after I called you Darrell

If doing EP -

TO OPT IN,

she (repeat) SHE

needs to OPT IN

see http://www.visajourn...onic_Processing

You can help her to prep the email,

but

it must come from her (the OPT IN email)

A 'next step' is to call NVC, exchange email addresses with the NVC human, get yer GUZ case #,

and then wait for the AOS fee bill to arrive in yer email. Once it arrives, send in the OPT IN EMAIL.

With EP - no need for postal mail, even from her to you - email is best.

If she doesn't have any scanner, wei - tell her to find the local copy shop there, and start practicing - suggest she get a thumb drive or USB drive, copy the files that you email her, she copies the scans made at the copy shop.

Good Luck !

SHenzhen, Thanks for answering,But I don't know if K1 visas can use the Electronic Processing. the link you gave is for a different kind of Visa,an I-130, not a K1. Darnell said earlier, that K1's don't qualify for Electronic Processing, unless this is a different kind of Electronic Processing. Also, I still don't know if I am suppose to use the I-134 or the I-864. This website says the 864, but thats for a permanent Visa, and a Fiance is a Temporary Visa. Thanks again. Bill

whew !

battle between K-1 and CR-1

Can I intervene?

For K-1 stuff, forget about

--DS-3032

--I-864

--NVC Electronic Processing for Guangzhou-bound casefiles

as that's CR-1 specific

and focus more on

Packet 3 documents (see http://guangzhou.usembassy-china.org.cn/forms_and_packets.htm )

and

--I-134

--relationship evidence

--evolution of relationship letter (see http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=260331&view=findpost&p=3995116 )

--red flag coverage on EOR and letters of attestation (see http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/234971-red-flag-list-for-visa-denial/page__hl__appointment )

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Darnell, thank you for finally answering my post. You seem to be the most knowledgable person I have seen on this Forum. And many of the responses posted seemed to contradict what you posted ealier. As I said before, I have worked with or for the US Government for the last 36 years and I know that if you send in what the government requires, things normally go smooth, but if you leave one thing out, you can be delayed for years, or at least it seems like years. I will write up a better EOR letter, besides that I think I almost have everything we need. So I need to mail the originals to my Fiance? Does she save these things for the Interview, or include them in the Packet 3? Because many people have said at their interview, their interviewer looked at none of their supporting documentation. That is why I am wondring if we have to send in the I-134 with the Packet 3. Thanks for your help.

There's a list of stuff in the OF-169, available for viewing/reading from the GUZ IV forms link I gave earlier

but

Not Much is submitted (inches of paper-wise) FROM the packet 3 back to GUZ IV; in fact

the majority of what's listed there in the OF-169 is to be handed over on interview day, to a document screener, then to the IO (depending on what it is).

Take a look at the OF-169 today and tomorrow, it should be self-explanatory, but if you get stuck, wei - let me know, la.

as to 'finally answering yer post' - my apologies - I've been travelling for work, sequestered in data centers doing some security stuffs, no internet access at all..
