No reference number there. Maybe it's too early? It also says 'no interview schedule' and lists the next available date. Is this because my interview is already done?

Hmm Ok you should see your name and passport number then to the right I believe will be the reference number. I missed it few times that I checked as I was just waiting for it to have an update saying it was available. Check a few times but yes it is possible that due to it only being the day after maybe its just not there yet. Check again :)

do you see your name and passport number? If you do, your reference ID will be directly to the right of your name. :)

I see *that* reference number, but the sample on the consulate website shows a different reference number for DHL that shows underneath, and specifically refers to it being a DHL reference..

Ok Take that "reference number" copy it and bring up dhl.ca then press the track button and there will be a reference track box put number in there and see what happens :)

You may not see it right away. It took 5 business days for me, so don't panic if you don't see something. It will come........................

Hi!

I had my interview in Montreal today (approved!!!!) and I went with the DHL thing. I figured that doing what the letter said to do was the best way to go. At the consulate, there were also some people with FedEx envelopes, but that might have been for another type of visa/document. The DHL method seems to be well organized and I am confident that it will work well.

Good luck on your interview!

Congratulations!

I've got this number; it's for the US consulate in Halifax. They say it still hasn't been shipped. There is no reference number to call DHL as it hasn't been shipped yet.

Don't panic, I had the same issue. When you call tomorrow ask if its okay to give them your passport to track it. That's what they did here in Vancouver. It didn't show being shipped either and the reference number ,like you said doesn't correspond to the Waybill number they DHL need. It took the 5 business days to get it so if the holiday isn't counted you "should" get it by Wednesday :)

WAHOO!! It came today!! Checked the website at lunch, still no tracking number. Called the consulate and they said it had been shipped and gave the tracking number. Looked it up on DHL site, and presto it was here! Checked the immigration site again tonight (just for 'fun') and they still haven't updated it with a tracking number.

Thanks again, to all the VJers, for your useful advice! Leaving Canada on Saturday!

Check the dhl.ca site or give them a call maybe they can search via your passport number... or call DOS to see if it has been issued yet.

Call your local US Consulate (someone provided me with the numbers in a previous post in this same thread). You never know, your visa might already be sitting at your DHL office!
