conditional GC to citizen

hi i would like to know about how long does it take from conditional GC to becoming a citizen. I know that after getting the conditional GC, have to wait 2 yrs to remove the conditions and then after we recive the 10 yr GC. From this point how long does a person have to wait to get us citizenship?

hey thx! ur sure its not after 5 yrs of the 10 yr GC? so according to what ive understood form ur reply, it basically one yr after the 10 yr greencard , we can apply for citizen ship (and yes, stayin married as well)

5 year rule is to Employment based GC category.

Yes, 1 year after your 10 year GC, you can apply for Naturalization.

5 years from when you first became a permanent resident...so 5 years after the issue date of your initial green card or 3 years for a marriage based application.

You'll just get over having paid for ROC then you can dish out more $ for citizenship. :lol:
