How long does it normally take to come from chennai to HYD?

Because my flight is booked on the 27th, you guys think that will be ok?

I will write my entire experience later on. I havent slept in a day or 2. GN!

If possible, collect the passport from the VFS counter. Otherwise blue dart will deliver in 3 to 4 business days. So, you should be all set for the travel plans.

You could stay back and collect it next day..ie, tomor. that wud be a good bet. Otherwise, well..myt be 1-2-3 business days from the time VFS receives it. Am assuming you are in the blue-dart 'coverage' area in Hyd.

You could keep calling VFS all india helpline number - 01206611411.. to check if they received/sent it.. The sms to 57333 i found is total waste of money.

I will call them. The VFS car was so ghetto lol. I will call them in the AM and see what happens. Im supposed to check out of this hotel at 12. I really REALLY dont like chennai.

It was long and painful because we really didnt spend any time together, it was kinda an arranged marriage, so we just talked on the phone, got married and spent a total of 20-25 days in 2 separate occasions and then for the first time we are actually together. It was painful and emotional for us. But still, 7 months is not bad, i will have to thank GOD as our journey went pretty smoothly. So your right indigo, not too long, but somewhat painful.

and zeban, I got PP and the packet today..ie, on the 20th (Interview - 18th); but i was in the 'coverage' area of blue dart. Consulate handed over the pkt to VFS on 19th and Blue dart picked it up same day-evening after 5 o clock. It was delivered in bglr to me at 1.30pm on 20th. So this is good news for you..

That sounds pretty good to me, but i dont know if VFS took it, i will call and see tomorrow. I am a little worked up, it was a descent experience. I got yelled at by one of the cops, because i was giving my wife a bag, and he was like ####### why do you keep disturbing the line, and im like retard, im giving my wife a bag, because my wife had so much ####### she couldnt carry it, we were under the impressiont hat NO BAGS were allowed into the consulate, then this guy, who i can barely communicate with kept touching me and saying bag bag bag, and i was likw ####### thank you and i kept moving away but he kept following me. Finally i just sat there for 3 hours, my shirt was COMPLETELY soaked with sweat, it was SO FRIKKIN HOOOOOOOTTTTTTT. I thought Hyderabad was bad, but DAMN chennai is like 2x worse.

I was just worked up because it was stressful for me, but all in all it went smoothly and i thank GOD

So it was painful for you to be away from someone you barely know? I really don't get the infatuation people feel toward their spouse. It seems unhealthy too me. I'm not talking about you specifically or antying. Just in general. I cringe when I hear someone say "I'm going to die without you." Are getting married and having babies the biggest accomplishments in a person's life? I know people on this forum are extra sensitive. Please don't take offense. I just felt like ranting.

I hope your re-union or should I say union with your spouse will be sweet and joyous. Please don't cry when you see your wife. Lol. Seriously. A grown man shouldn't cry, especially if you're in public, such as at a airport. Just don't.
