To our defense, those of us who are at NVC, we waited 5 to 6 months to hear anything from USCIS. My case file took 158 days to be approved. And before me, people were being approved in 170 days. You case has been filed only 90 days ago. You've got a lot more waiting to do; so, set your expectation accordingly and you won't be disappointed.

Defense of what? I wasn't knocking anyone going through NVC..we can have a problem if you like...but I think you're misreading what I typed.

I'm fully aware I have to wait...MY POINT was that things were moving there for a bit...and nobody's heard anything. MY reference to burger king was just waiting your turn...so where did I offend anyone for you to be defensive?

I must be waiting in the drive thru line at an abandoned burger joint...seems that our case never moves. Finally got NVC approval after nearly a year and was praying for a November interview. Well, the list came out a few minutes ago and we are not on it. Hang in there, someone is bound to move the cases sooner or later.

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

I stopped counting weeks ago. It'll be approved when it does. Now, once it is a few days pass my five month period. I will call to inquire and if it goes beyond six I will call and raise hell.

Anyway, I stopped going to Burger King because a few years back, they had that "Burger King" in the commercials and he just freaked me out to the point that I won't step into another BK again.

I'm in line at Five Guys ... double 1/3 lbs patty, two slices of cheese, three strips of bacon, mustard, mayo, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions and jalapeno's.

I got you all beat for waiting... I'm closing in on 170 days in a very few days!!! Even called the robots at USCIS - gave me a line number (just like the number they give you at DMVs), they said to watch for the number change until it goes to the one they gave me, then they'll give me another number to wait longer then they said I should know in about 30 days from they call my number the second waiting after the first waiting...

Now I'm really confused from all of this waiting... you know what if I don't hear from them anytime soon, I'll just wait longer...
