Hi everybody,

I was mentioned last week that I will give a try and visit my husband. Well, it worked great and since Saturday I am here with my husband. I had all my paperwork with me (leasing contract, letter from daughter's school, invitation from my in-law etc) but they didn't ask for any of them. The officer lady in Chicago was very friendly, she asked whom I am visiting and I answered my husband. Then she ask why I am not living with him and I said our case is already in the process. She asked me to place my right four fingers on the screen and after couple seconds after I asked if I should change the fingers she said she doesn't need that. I guess she already found my informations on her computer. Even if I told her I will stay two weeks, she stamped my passport until the 17th. of January 2011. One more information, I am German and in VWP with a valid entry permission from ESTA until 2012.

Good luck to everyone who wants to visit husband or wife. It is a great feeling to be together again.(even if for 2 weeks)

You realise being on a VWP you can stay for 90 days don't you? Am happy that you are reunited with your husband for a little while at least.

Divorced !st November 2012.

Hi Barbara,

Yes I know that, but my daughter stays with my parents right now and going to school. I can't leave her behind for that long time, I will miss my sweet baby and she will miss me. So that is why we just limited this visit with 2 weeks. But yes, if I was alone, I would for sure stay until the last day on the stamp :-)

Thank you for mentioning that and of course for kind words...

Hi Evieve, as I mentioned before I'm German and in VWP. I don't know if you need a visa or have already a valid visa. Well being in VWP is not a guarantee of course, but it worked with me :-)

I don't know what's VWP. I only know that if a citizen from Philippines who wants to travel to US, a visa is a must.

You are showing a Turkish Flag, might want to change it.

(Many people visit whilst the process is underway, you either need VWP eligibility and approved ESTA or a B2 Visitors Visa)

I checked this site http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/without/without_1990.html and Philippines is not listed. So, it's not possible for me?

Sorry for late answering, since we have much to do here I am not able to check my mails very often; only once a day :-(

I had Turkish Flag, because right now me and my daughter we are living in Turkey and when we are so far, I will be invited to American Embassy in Ankara.
