Hi Guys,

I made an appointment for a B1/B2 visa interview at the US embassy in Cairo next month. I have couple of problems.

1. I've been refused a student visa, 2 times, JUL 2008.

2. My parents are US legal Permanent residence since JUN 2006.

3. My sister is studying in the US.

4. All my family from my dad's side are US citizens.

5. I stayed in the US for long periods, but never over-stayed. And I used to stay in the US 1 or 3 months each time visit, except the last time I stayed 5 months ( I was given 6 month stay)

Do you think I have any chance for B1/B2 visa?? Because I don't :(

But I didn't do anything wrong when I was there,,and its not my fault that my parents got their green card :( I just want to visit them and see my fiancé.

If you already know your chances, why going for a B2 visa?

Your situation is pretty clear to me: you do want to immigrate in US as all your family's there and you also a fiance. If she is a US citizen, go ahead and have her sponsor you for a K1 visa. B-2 is not the right way to go and I'm afraid a B2 refusal might cost you a lot in the future.

You only have the fee at risk.

Presumably you have a B2 before and did not abuse it so you have a better chance than some.
