Happy New Year to all the October filers! I have been sick with pneumonia for 3 weeks which has actually helped me pass time better than anything else. I guess there is one benefit to being sick. :lol:

Oct. 19, 2010: Sent I-129F packet

Oct. 25, 2010: NOA1

Nov. 05, 2010: Touched

Mar. 01, 2011: Went to Malaysia to be with my fiancé

Mar. 30, 2011: NOA2!

Apr. 08, 2011: Case left NVC

Apr. 12, 2011: Case received by embassy in KL

Apr. 19, 2011: Received Packet 3

May 04, 2011: Received Packet 4

May 06, 2011: Medical examination

May 26, 2011: Interview

RESULT: Administrative Processing

Jun. 18, 2011: Visa received

POE: June 27 @ San Francisco, CA

Married: July 20, 2011

Got my police check/printing done today. Will organise my medical too in the next two weeks to be ready when noa2 is received.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

Hope you didn't have to pay for this, because you have to get this stuff dated closer to the interview. Way too early to do this. Same with the rest of the P3 stuff. Everything needs to be dated very close to the actual interview.

Why would it matter when Police Checks are good for one year?

Just because they are good for one year doesn't prove that she didn't get in trouble from now until the interview. So basically she could get arrested, but hey!, this paper is good for one year! Look at the paper! I haven't been in trouble... See where I am going with this?

When she gets to her interview, she is going to be very frustrated when they ask her to provide a more recent document.

Bahh, I'll take my chances. A lot of Australian VJ members have obtained their Police Check as early as this, even earlier. Plus, it takes around 3-4 weeks for it to come through. Right in time for our NOA 2 :)
