Thanks! Yeah I emailed them asking them if I could bring my interview closer since I have a job already lined up for the summer. I attached my work contract and was lucky enough to get one tomorrow! Could not believe it! Super blessed!

Hi guys!!

I am filling out the I-134 and I am wondering about question 11. It is asking if you intend or do not intend to provide housing/financial assistance. I looked that the example forms and it just said "N/A-K1 Visa process for permanent residence" and there wasn't a box checked. I am the sole sponsor. I will be providing my fiance with housing and I am sure that I will supply him with funds from time to time.

I was just wondering what everyone else used in this area. Thanks in advance!!

I am filling out the I-134 and I am wondering about question 11. It is asking if you intend or do not intend to provide housing/financial assistance. Congrats and good luck to all on the next steps.

We had an RFE saying they wanted proof of the petitioner(yes, the USC) not having been married before. And he hasn't so that was a bit odd but we figured out how to respond. I went ahead and the physician performing the medical okayed me and had that done a week ago. I mailed the embassy last week, asking them if that procedure was fine. They said ok and today they actually contacted me saying they recieved the medical and mailed me some stuff in advance to fill out so there'd be less delays once in the hands of the embassy.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

Well looks like our file was received at the embassy today. Hoping things continue going quickly! I'm sure we'll be put in AP/AR after the interview, so I figure the sooner that begins, the sooner it is over!

Nov. 05, 2010: Touched

Mar. 01, 2011: Went to Malaysia to be with my fiancé

Mar. 30, 2011: NOA2!

Apr. 08, 2011: Case left NVC

Hey! I'm doing just dandy here. Enjoying Malaysia + living with my fiancé. The embassy received our 'packet 3' response eight days ago, so we are hoping to receive packet 4 with the interview date in the mail anytime now!

I'm still sure my fiancé will be put in AP after the interview, but I figure the sooner we get an interview, the sooner we start AP and the sooner AP finishes. :P

Nov. 05, 2010: Touched

It's been quiet in here for sure. Hope everyone's busy with travel plans or gathering documents for interview. Or have already gone to the US and moving on to AOS!

I have an interview set in June, everything since USCIS has been a smooth and painless ride. The embassy emailed me packet 3 upon request, I replyed and within 30 minutes they sent a letter confirming an interview date. Talk about being fast!

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011
