Wow.. Teddyhoney, I'm so sorry! I see it's been 22 months since you've been together. But you're right, her health is first priority. Hope everything's well by the time you get (good) news from USCIS.

Thanks for those nice words! They are appreciated! She got results from her 3 days of Sputum today and they were all negative for the acid, so that's some good new anyway. And that CSC seems to be moving again!

Congrats to all Filers who were approved yesterday!

10/17/2008 - First Contact via message in CB

03/15/2009 - Engaged

05/15/2009 - First meeting in person (I traveled to Philippines)

10/05/2010 - Sent I-129F package to Fiancee VISA service for review and forwarding

12/08/2011 - Interview - Approved!

12/20/2011 - VISA in hand! (Never showed up in 2go online tracking!)

01/04/2012 - POE San Francisco(SFO)I met her there.

01/05/2012 - We're Home!

02/14/2012 - Married Valentine's Day 2012!

Jup, I signed up again and it didnt help really. First when I log in the error occures again and I need to sign out, and do it another time until I can see my update. So far no news yet. My fiancee called there a while ago and they said they got some technical problem and asked him to call back in few hours so they can put in a service request since we are out of 5 months.

This morning when I checked Igor's list I got a really good feeling about it since some of my fellow October filers been approved.

Where are you going to move in US??? I wish you all the best for your journey :) We should keep in touch.

"Wait for the person who pursues you, the one who will make an ordinary moment seem magical, the kind of person who brings out the best in you and makes you want to be a better person; wait for the person who will be your best friend, the person who will drop everything to be with you at anytime no matter the circumstances, wait for the person who makes you smile like no one else does and when they smile you know they need you. Wait for the person who wants to show you off to the world when you are in sweats and a t-shirt, but appreciates it when you dress up for them. And most of all wait for the person who will put you at the center of their universe because that's where you belong."

Having a positive skin test for TB only means your immune system has had exposure to the antigen sometime in the past. Most people who are skin test positive will never actually get TB. The sputum is to look for the bacteria. They identify the bacteria using a series of chemical treatments to the specimen. One of the treatments uses acid and if the bacteria remain after this they are deemed to be 'acid-fast' bacteria. I think this is what your fiancee was referring to. The chest x-ray is very important also in this to look for evidence of actual TB disease. Hope all is well for her!

And thanks for the congratulations, it is so good to have this behind us now!

Yes you should, it can't hurt ;) I don't know if it helps or not but I am positive and confident. The guy on the phone said to call back after 30 days, but if we dont hear anything by Friday, my fiancee calls back.

funny, they said the same thing the second time he called, "We are still processing September 16th" - don't keep up with that BS. Plus you are out of the processing time, they have to realize that we are not sitting still and watching them doing nothing. Anyway, did you talk to a tier 1 or 2? Well, I am pretty sure we both get good news this week.

Yeah I know I was ranting about how dumb they act to my fiance when I hung up. This time it was a tier 1, a few days ago I spoke to a tier 2 but didn't get results either. Today she wouldn't transfer me to a tier 2.

What doesn't make ANY sense is that all 3 times I've called they've started it out with "Yes, you are outside the 5 month processing time. I can go ahead and look into your case" and they end it with "You are still inside the processing time." #######. :bonk:

Lol I didn't get approved yet. I am just happy to see dates around mine get approved, that means mine can't be far!

So sorry about that. In all the excitement, I mis-clicked on your reply button. I truly hope that you get your NOA-2 soon.

Keep calling back until you can get to a Tier 2 ISO. Be very cordial when you talk to them. Let them know that you know that many January and February filers have already been approved. Also, they can over-ride the under 5 month requirement. They did it for me. I just got my service request letter today. It was requested by me 1 week before my 5 months. Per the letter they started adjudicating my petition 5 days before my 5 months. It can be done. Just be persistent. I am hoping that you get your approval soon.

John
