ive got my uk police certificate now. had just over a month but its valid for twelve. my question is do i need a police certificate from the us for my overstay? i overstayed by just over seven months in a tiny town in new jersey. actually the police department was around the corner!

forgive me if its been asked before but in using the net on the phone so a search is near impossible.

i stayed at my wifes parents house, had mail sent there like bank statements, tickets etc. does that class as living or residing officially.

also i dont need anything from my previous marriage apart from the certified divorce decree do i?

cheers for any help!

A team, lol..how's that mohawk coming? If I were you, I'd start putting together like a picture album of pre-wedding, wedding and post wedding pics..whatever you have. Phone bills showing calls to the states or UK to eachother. Chat Logs if you have them..I think you got other stuff, mail and stuff, just samples, but it in a big binder with tabs so that they can easily flip through them for your interview.
