MY FIANCEE AND I WERE APPROVED FOR AN I129F PETITION. K-1 VISA. WE GO TO THE MEDICAL EXAM AND INTERVIEW EVERYTHING IS FINE UNTIL THE CO SAYS WE HAVE TO FILE AN I601 WAIVER, SHE SAID TO FILE IT AND DO THE FINGERPRINTS AND HARDSHIP LETTER AND ANOTHER G325 FOR MY FIANCEE. THE CO TOLD US THE PROCESS WOULD TAKE 3-6 MONTHS, WHEN I CALLED AND EMAILED CDJ THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD TAKE 8-10 MONTHS. (FILED 8-2-06) NOW MY QUESTION IS, WHO DO I BELIEVE, HOW DO I KNOW IF ITS PROCESSING? ALL I KNOW THATS ITS IN THECDJ SYSTEM, BUT HOW DO I KNOW WHEN DHS HAS IT?

ANYONE THATS BEEN THERE, CAN YOU HELP ME?

Not sure if you saw my response to your other post in the Mexico forum:

CDJ doesn't communicate about waiver processing until the waiver has been approved and a second pick up appointment has been scheduled. Generally on immigrate2us.net right now waivers are averaging about 6 months but there have been shorter wait times. Jacob328 filed in January and got approved in August.

There is an email for CDJ to try to request waiver status as well as a DOS number in Washington where you can try to get information. Check immigrate2us.net for that information.
