Here is where I think confusion occurs with applications. Looks like you had a couple RFE's on both I130 and I129. Until the application is "complete" I don't think they can do anything with petitions until they have all documents. While it does seem on paper you have been waiting a long time, it in some sense is self imposed waiting time, had the documents been in order and complete initially they would have been closer to being approved and on to the next step.

So would you figure from the day they received your response to the RFE as a more likely estimate of processing time for the application maybe?

That said recent touches are a good sign and indication they are working on it and you will hear something soon.
