I fail to see how discussing a different approach to government fits that. Allowing the supreme courts or any court alone to determine my Q.O.L and the direction of the country is no different to having a King and Queen or aristocrats make these decisions for us. Ironic, when you think about it.

There is a reason why the parliamentary system or a form of it is used in a majority of first world countries. To the contrary, the constitutional presidential republic system tends to be used by South American and various African countries and we can see first-hand how well that has turned out for them.

I agree with you there. Courts should decide law, not make it.

The US was headed for a parliamentary system, however, they decided on a president executive to replace the crown executive as the focal point for affairs of state, and to lead the armies and navies in time of war. Remember, the Crown Heads of Europe were not the figureheads in the late 18th century that they are today. Today's modern parliaments are more of a neutering of the executive, something the US should indeed consider.
