Dear All,

Is it possible to get one police certificate in Beijing to cover all cities where I worked? I went to my Hukou registration office in Beijing and they said they only can prove the period of my residence in Beijing. Do I have to go to where I worked to get certificates? It will be a huge project!!! Does anyone here have suggestions? Thank you very much!

you have hukuo book for ONE city.

Go to 'that city', that PSB office, and get the certificate. It covers all of China.

If you are 'migrant worker' in BeiJing, I'm sorry, you can't get the right police clearance certificate (that US Consulate/Guangzhou IV wants) .

Plan a trip, soonish.

Can't travel? wei !

you have other family members in yer hukuo book, for yer city -

so

have one of them go to the PSB, in that city (Not BeiJing ), get the PCC. They can, they are allowed, all because YOUR name is IN THEIR Hukuo book.

Unless you are a 'gold collar worker' - you really have no 'true hukuo for BeiJing'. You might think you do, but you really do not.

any 'gold collar worker' paid the fee for 'transfer of hukuo'. I'm guessing you did not do that. It's a lot of money, about 35,000 RMB for BeiJing Transfer fee.

Good Luck !

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thanks. Darnell.

I have it done. Actually Beijing notarization office accepts proof either from Beijing police office (where my Hukou locates) or my company human office. It covers the time till the date on the proof. Thanks again.
