I too am in the same situation now.

My husband's visa interview was on Feb 14, 2011 at chennai.

Everything went fine and the office told him on face that he is accepted for visa and took his passport.

He got an email on 2/16/2011 saying his case is under AP and sent a long list of questionnaire. What the heck !!!

My husband is an MS degree holder in Material Science and Engineering. The questionnair asked him to briefly describe his recent project experience

and to submit his CV. They also asked for an Invitation letter from his sponsor.

I dont understand, why should they ask all this because his petition is that of CR1 and not employment based.

He sent all scanned docs via email the same night to chennaiIVU@state.gov. I dont know how long its gonna take.

Its been 2 years since we got married and staying apart.

I cant take this anymore.

Did anyone of you had a similar experience?
