Hi Everyone,

The NOA1 states "The I-129F has been received by our office for the following beneficiaries and is in process." But in the section below this states my finace's name, date of birth, country of birth, and class. Under the country of birth section it says "UNKNOWN" but I looked at my I-129F and my Fiance's G-325A and it clearly states the country where my fiance was born. Is this going to be a problem? Should I call the USCIS office regarding this? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Mark

I've seen lots of these cases lately. We clearly fill in those blanks on the forms, but for some reason they state there "unknown", which is why my opinion is that it won't matter so much. The original forms are correct and all.

Of course, some VJers called to tell them about the "mistake". But seriously, since the information can be found in the forms, the fact that they just write there "unknown" clearly isn't something very important. Or else, they won't mess with our process. IMO. Someone with more experience or who thinks I'm wrong should feel free to correct my misunderstanding.

P.S.: On our noa1, they only used my first name, the middle name isn't there, though it's black on white written in the forms. Not a big deal. And I've seen others in the same situation. If the papers are correct... Right?

Best of luck for the journey!!

Regards,

Sunshine

Hi!

Our NOA1 came the same way...I think they know the country that the beneficiary is 'FROM' on the initial petition, but since the birth certificate is not in the petition, they leave it as unknown since it could be they were born elsewhere.

Anyway don't worry!

YOu are not alone...the country of birth for my fiance is also listed as "UNKNOWN" on the NOA1 for my I-129F. However on NOA1 for I-130 the country of birth is shown as its suppose to. I almost freaked out thinkin that it was due to my mistake and had forgotten to provide that information. But after reviwing the copy of the orignal documents that I submitted to USCSI i noticed the information was there. Personally haven't done anything about it becasue I believe if someone go looking for it its there and will find it.

Sure! That's what I was thinking too. Since we gave them that information, seriously... it's not a problem. It will all be fine and we'll soon be with our loved ones! :D

P.S. again: If you see my posts in the VJ forum, you'll see I'm a veeery optimistic person. I just can't help it. The positive attitude really helps in this process. Think it this way: if you want something to happen sooo badly and you think about it and know things will be ok at last... they will! It's like the Universe gathers all forces to help you. As they say it: When you want something, the whole universe conspires in helping you achieve it. :luv:
