Hi there,

My husband just started working after being a full-time student. He didn't file taxes while he was in school. Do you know if he is eligible to sponsor me considering his income qualifies?

From what I've read of other people's experiences here, probably not. It seems USCIS wants to see evidence of a history of a steady income, and I have seen more than one poster here with an income currently exceeding the requirement for their household get an RFE on the I-864. You may want to line up a co-sponsor.

Anyone else have some insight on this?
