Hello,

I have been to ghana and stayed for 3 months with my fiance. I am going back in a couple months and we are going to get married. I want to stay there and file directly from there when I'm able to. Does anyone know what the procedure is for obtaining residency in ghana? Can I do this if Im there with a visitor visa? Should I change that when I get there?? Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

thanks for your help, but I just found out that the Ghana embassy does not offer DCF. BUMMER !!

you can ask another country close to Ghana if they will take the case, its up to them but it might work. hint, Don't pick a high fraud embassy

i went to the immigration in accra to make inquiry on how to apply for a residency after our wedding and they told us we have to be married for at least 2years before it could be done. But i know it could be done as how things are done in Ghana.so i was later hooked up with a lady called juan and she introduce us to an immigration officer called Lawrence.he we filled the form and he took as to the lawyer who has to interview us and sign before the process begins.after we did that.i payed him 100GH Cedis.

if you will like to go through the process i can introduce you that immigration officer.just get in touch.
