That would be a party to remember! It is the biggest pain in the bottom I've had to endure, you do find friendships in the strangest places. With any luck, one USCIS officer will knock us all off in a day, one after the other!

do'h i forgot JlovesA,they have been a great help too.

i know,i just remember how i felt bad, when people before us got approved, its a bittersweet feeling.

nothing getting an RFE would be,AMAZING?

the only that gets me going at the moment is day dreaming, thinking about how i wanna decorate my house, what my schedule will be.i know its wrong because there is no 100% guarantee that things will go as planned, but still that is my only hope

Oh please, that is the ONLY cure (well, not a cure... more like a painkiller) to this wait. Daydreaming about waking up with your sweetheart every single day without knowing you'll be apart again soon. I can't even really imagine what that would feel like. I've been lucky, I've spent months at a time in the US, I can't imagine how hard it is for you with all your border difficulties. So nothing wrong with daydreaming, that's what keeps us from moping in bed all day with the curtains closed.

not just that, not having to depend on a useless piece of #######,IE: computers to communicate, doing everything every couple does together.

im just really nervous as far as RFE and consulate goes, cause administrative processing is normal for middle eastern beneficiaries and we have planning to go " home" ( god it feels so weird and new to say home while talking anywhere but tehran ) together.i dk i dont want that to happen

The computers are terrible, you can get so close to the real thing with video chat and whatever, but that only really shows you what you're missing, because you can't touch the other person. I hope hope hope you don't get an RFE (and me too, although I'm fairly confident we frontloaded enough, and Holland isn't a suspicious country or whatever). Just smooth sailing for all of us, yes please, thank you!

Ha! Well, I'm about to pop open a bottle of champagne with my baby on Skype (waiting impatiently for him to sign in), but in Holland the legal drinking age is 16, which effectively means 12... I'll be glad when I'm over there, though, to not have to always hope they don't ID me at a restaurant. And be able to go into jazz clubs and all that! I've been missing out on the best parts of Chicago!

I'm a solid believer in karma. I've not always been kind to spiders or mosquitoes, but on the whole I'm gentle and forgiving, so we should have our approval WELL within the 5 month mark...

Here's ole me being the opposite of everyone again...I'm MORE impatient now that they're moving again. I feel like it's getting soooo close whereas before it was just pointless to be impatient.

Met: December 2009

Married: April 2015

Received CR-1 visa: February 2017

POE (as IR-1): April 2017

Oath ceremony: November 2020

Oh trust me, I'm still plenty impatient!

Hey at least we are literally in the same boat with our dates. The day either of us gets approved we know the other is just days away.
