it is really, specially when you try your best to seem approachable, normal and all those things that you are deep inside and dont bring up instantly.

i dont think it will be an issue, the age that is,its a big deal in middle eastern and asian countries over all,i doubt it will be a big deal in a country as free and as open thinking as Netherlands .

thats the issue,i think more than being upset ill be offended if they tell us that our relationship isnt legit despite what we have been through, and it will be really hard to control myself at that point, you have seen the feisty me,you dont wanna see the offended me.

ive been so nervous, even tho bee will be there, never the less,i so dont want to have go through all this again, because if we get denied we wont be able to apply for a cr-1,we wont be able to live together therefor not able to prove our marriage.and i wont be able to come back to iran cause it would be risky because of his job.

im at peace with the state of our petition at this point,im more worried about the interview.

It is offensive, the thing about relationships is that nobody outside of it can really understand it. Even your own mother can't know the intricate ins and outs, or the exact reasons why you love a person. And you can spend all day trying to explain, in the end it's just a feeling beyond words. So the interview is flawed (although the only way, I understand that), because how can you attempt to relay your most intimate friendship and love to a complete stranger, in the space of 10 minutes, when they're trained to be suspicious?

Alright, I'll stop this fear mongering. I'm sure you'll spend the next few days in a dark room psyching yourself out...

youre completely wording my thoughts,i can bring ten billion emails, geziliion pics,it still wouldnt do our relationship justice, and to think someone will be judging us based on that, its just...not even scary just flat out unfair.

for everyone,k-1,k-3,cr-1,ir-1,regardless of the petition

It is scary and unfair, although I can't think of any way to improve the process off the top of my head. I get that they have to weed out the people doing it just for the green card, but I don't think it would hurt for them to be a little friendlier. That whole pokerface, "you're guilty until you bend over backwards to prove you're innocent" attitude makes my skin crawl. Fear is not an emotion that we need more of in this world, they should be trained to pick out the fakers without making everybody sweat for 9 months or more.

i know right, ill have no problem applying for all this again,i have learned my lesson and done my homework, but to get denied over how someone views my relationship, its just too much.

Thing have been crazy! I am really glad to see some movement in the approvals. All the 15 most recent approvals of fiance Visas from CSC are with in a week. Beats not seeing anything for over a month. Congrats to all who were approved last week :-) Keep the flow going and it wont be long till all of us get approved.

I hope all of you guys will get approved soon!

What really irritates me about the approvals is that first-come, first-served is NOT happening at USCIS. That's super weird. I wonder what their strategy is.

I'm not sure they have a strategy!

Similar conversations have been ongoing since I joined VJ two years ago. From our experience most filers that submitted at the same time as us and to the same service centre did end up being approved within about a month of each other. The waiting never did get easier but at least the company was good!

Good luck to everyone waiting...those approvals will eventually come.

I'm not sure they have a strategy!

oh, but they do, they will take your money upfront, and take their time, well how long? as long as it takes to do a simple background check. :bonk::lol::bonk::lol::bonk::lol: (i understand some cases are more than just background check)
