I just paid the IV Fee $404.00. Waiting for the status to changed to paid. What's the next step?

Gather up all the documents needed check , check, double check, and check them all again. Get them ready to mail in. Make sure to follow the instructions on the form DS-230 and also what is required from the NVC.

How do I know what is require?

After you paid the fee and it shows paid there is a link to the DS-230 instructions on the state department website. In the instructions it list all that is required.

Birth Certificates

Court and Prison Records

Deportation Documentation

Marriage Certificates

Marriage Termination Documentation

Military Records

Petitioner Documents

Photocopy of Valid Passport Biographic Data Page(Of beneficiary)

Police Certificates(Of every province or place lived)

Adoption Documentation

You must submit two identical color photographs measuring 2 inches x 2 inches (5 cm x 5 cm) taken against a plain white background.(Basically passport photos) Must meet U.S. requirements for passport photos.

Documents are good as long as they are in the official national language of the country your from.

You must submit original documents and also photo copies of those originals documents. Certified copies of the originals can be used also in place of the original documents. Would benefit you to take the time and read the travel site for the state department link provided after paying your fees.
