Ok VJers,

I need you to comfort me! I have sent the original docs of the Affidavit of support (tax transcripts, birth cert of co sponsor, employment letters..) and the IV application (marriage cert. +original police cert+photos...) to the NVC.

I DONT HAVE the same packs of docs, and to get those papers AGAIN it might take me up to a month!!!

I just wanna know, if all the docs get to be forwarded to the US EMbassy or NOT! please for those who have experienced an interview after filing normally at NVC (not e-filing) did they REALLY have to bring another pack of the same originals? or the Consular alreayd had everything from NVC????????

PLEASE HELP

Your docs and the original will be forwarded to the embassy and you will be given your originals at the interview.

Is there a way to get documents back from USCIS or will they forward anything to NVC?

:ot:

I know there IS a way but as far as I read it's a pain in the A$$... :bonk: I don't know exactly what is the procedure but you might want to call USCIS and ask them (first hand info is usually the best!)

You will get all your originals back at the interview, not the police certificate though. But important stuff like marriage and birth cert yes. No worries.

Alles wird gut und wenn es noch nicht gut ist, ist es noch nicht vorbei.
