Hello Everyone,

Question, my wife is waiting for her AOS. We already received the NOA1 document, stating that our case is being worked on. Now from my understanding this process takes 5 months and I would like to know if we are able to travel to a different state (NY) for sight seeing.

yes you can go state to state you just cant leave the country...have fun sight seeing!!!! :thumbs:

No problem at all. In general, just make sure that you don't cross the international borders when you travel. And bring her NOA1 with you, it will help in case you get stopped by ICE officers or Border Patrol.

yes you can!! :thumbs: just have your NOA1 and marraige certificate copies with you just in case someone wants to be nosy B-) ...but you have nothing to worry about. Enjoy your sight seeing.

Yes!! We travelled all over the US when I was doing AOS.

Have fun... and enjoy this huge country.... I've visited 41 states now!

Old and Grumpy....But an American Citizen!!!
