Hello guys,

I am just wondering what if they ask "How did your finace go to US the first place" at the interview what kind of an ansnwer should be ready to provide?

I am the USC and came here on a B1 visa 13 years ago and got sponsored thru a restaurant for the green card. Will this cause a problem? After all i am a USC!

Any suggestion will be very helpful...

Thank you guys,

Thank you guys,

I don't see any problem. you came here legally, got a green card and went through the naturalization process.

I don't think she will be asked about how you arrived here, they cannot expect her to know what visa you entered on many years ago or your whole immigration process.

But if she is asked, I think that something generic like "he arrived in (whatever year it was) from (wherever you arrived from), got a green card and then became a US citizen" should suffice.
