Hi... we are applying for a K-1 visa and I have received a letter from the Vancouver Embassy about downloading packet 3 from their website. It states that I need to complete the following two forms:

FORM DS-160 NONIMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION: This form is accessible online

https://ceac.state.gov/GenNIV/. You must bring TWO copies of the confirmation page to the interview.

FORM DS-156K NONIMMIGRANT FIANCE (E) VISA APPLICATION. This form is accessible online

http://www.travel.st...orms_1342.html. If you are applying for a K3 visa, do not complete the DS-

156K.

Although these forms are available to complete online, am I correct in understanding that as a K-1 visa applicant I need to PRINT them and TAKE the completed forms (2 copies) with me to the interview? At least one of the forms (to down laod and print) is dated "current until Sept 30, 2010." Anyone know if there is a more recent form or should I just call the embassy?

Also, roughly how long after I return my "checklist" to the embassy can I expect an interview?

06/24/11 - mailed AOS/EAD/AP applications to Chicago Lockbox

06/29/11 - received email notification of arrival

08/05/11 - still no word on EAD - no RFE, no NOA... Wondering if this is something to worry about?!

08/11/11 - biometrics apt in Fairbanks (apt letter listed AOS only)
