Hello,

I am looking into different options to move to the United States with my fiance. I am a US citizen, and he is a Mexican citizen. Up until now, we have been planning to file for a fiance visa and then an adjustment of status once in the states. However, I recently learnt about DCF, and am wondering if that might be a better option. I understand that you have to be a legal resident in Mexico for a minimum of 6 months. I have been living and working here for 14 months with an FM3 visa. I'm not sure if this qualifies us, and if so, does anyone know which is a better option - fiance visa or DCF? Please help!
