Holy #######. WTH is this? I didn't send any evidence of relationship with my I-130 and I expected an RFE for it but I passed straight through. I wonder what the heck is prompting all this scrutiny from the USCIS step, I had thought these things were primarily the domain of the NVC.

You don't need full chat transcripts, just send snippets of the less sensitive messages covering as large of a date range as you can. That's the plan for NVC for us anyway. My wife's father has also passed away and I am sure she doesn't have a death certificate. :-/

Just send what you can now and hope they're satisfied. Sure seems like they're asking for a lot though.

yeah i posted on another thread for some help , a guy there assumed i older with kids and a different religion.. so not true..lol but then again he thought albania was a mena country.. i explained where it was for him:)...im not sure what all of it is about ..the other post said it was rfe for everyone including those doing aos , but they messed with the wrong one here because i have everything they wanted including waiting for my husbands transcripts from school proving he knows english .. maybe this whole rfe is random or like i said before for congressman asking so they had to do something to explain its been sitting on desk for 6 months..but i have everything so im cool as cucumber now..you guys are great..

Well....I finally got a response:

dont accept that get your congressman involved..they will send you a privacy act via email , that you can scan and email back or print and mail in and let them check for you..because i think my file was sittinG on a desk anD not touched tHe whole tIme..a rfe is better thAn nothinG at all and the congressman's liaison is gonna folloW up on tHe rfe too once i mail it in..they sent me the same crappy response they sent u..and its a linE of bs....

got everything plus more needed for the rfe....will they keep all this proof all the way to the interview stage if so it will save me from taking 10lbs of stuff with me to albania when i go i will of course take the skype and more pics to show ongoing relationship until his interview but do i have to copy everything again i have sent for this rfe?

I am trying to see a silver lining here. But if USCIS is really going to take another 180 days, then 2 months more at NVC then 2 more months before Consulate interview..... we may just get him here AFTER our second anniversary and then not have to deal with this crummy process anymore for ten years. I really hate for us to not be living together for all that time, but it does give me the possibility of more vacation time in his country.

(That's all a real stretch to find a silver lining) LOL

yeah i know i felt the same thing and i am assuming that after i send in the rfe we will know something but got to thinking today they told us same thing as you ..so i hope to GOD not rfe and then more months of waiting for background, we decided if this takes to much longer im coming and stay with him until approved or denied...yeah its hard to find a silver lining in this process..

I would, due to Murphy's Law. (If it can go wrong, it will.) The government could lose your RFE evidence; better to have a backup copy of the package and not need it than not have it and need it.

okay i will make a copy of everything, i have everything downloaded and in my computer anyways just in case and will take with me when i go ..and keep it with me in carry on ..i trust the airlines as much as the government when it comes to keeping things safe.. as soon as we hear something from the uscis and i send nvc stuff ..im going visiting albania..unless its a denial letter than im staying..

Where do you live that it would take over 11 days to arrive if they sent it on the 9th? Hopefully they sent it on the 18th so you will get it on Monday or Tuesday. So strange the way they are operating. I never had to call USCIS but NVC seems much better to deal with. Did they tell you what the RFE was for? I am surprised there is an RFE, you seem so focused that I can't believe you would have omitted something.

thank God for that..i just want to get past this uscis stage..of course i will then worry about nvc then the interview but being almost 7 months into this im half crazy...when i got that rfe i broke down and almost said forget it and packed and left,but my sis talked me out of it..but atleast this is an option for me, but i think about the other poor ppl on here that its not an option for and i feel terrible for them...

If my husband and I dont get approved soon or just a complete denial.. Theres no way I can go be with him.. I have joint custody of my two kids with my ex.. i just hope we get an approval soon.. They keep telling me to call next week and then next week and then june 15th.. that they cant do a service request because im in the normal processing.. that 5 months is only an estimate.. and they are barely on Dec 16th petitions.. GRRRRRR i dont know what to do.. I call USCIS and people say I shouldnt because they know when you call but if they just gave me the right information i wouldnt have to call back..

I think I should just completely not call or check status or even hope for it anymore.. it only hurts..

rant all you want ...were here for that!! i am getting so frustrated to im in limbo with the rfe waiting on stuff from my husband..im starting to very stressed out my husband said just to forget all and come there but i will turn in rfe and then if months im going there to either wait or forget it...
