I called again told same story..yes its been six months but background check have to wait up to another 6 months..I'm totally upset and wish now I would of just stayed with my husband.. :crying: :crying:

Ugh, so sorry to hear, marjus' girl. I'm deliberately dragging out the NVC process for personal reasons, so if it does take the entire 6 months for you to get your NOA2, we can go through NVC together. :P *cold comfort*

my husband is eliberately dragging our NVC process so i am sure i will be with you and marju's girl . we havent proceeded anything after we got our NVC case number

07/25/2010 - Nikah Day

11/10/2010 - sent I-130

11/15/2010- Priority Date

11/18/2010- Notice Date

03/16/2011- Case has been updated on website

04/20/2011- Received NOA2 approval email (Finally)

153 days from our NOA1 to NOA2 .

NVC Journey

04/05/2011: Received NVC Case #

05/30/2011 - Emailed DS3032 ( moving at snail's pace i know )

06/03/2011 - AOS fee Paid

06/03/2011 - Acceptance of DS3032

I am starting to hate the weekends also. I wait all week just to be disappointed again. At this point it's Sunday night and all I really feel is rage. I can't really talk to anyone else because all i need to do is vent and if I hear one more bit of stupid advise I just know I will start screaming. So I guess it's off to work tomorrow to make believe I not about to lose my mind. I know I can bear this, but the question is, why do we have to?

yeah thats exactly how I feel too..my only comfort is knowing that we have decided if it takes much longer or he is denied(I'm not expecting it but who knows) I will be moving there..that has actually comforted me that no matter what we will be together...I don't understand why we have to bear it either and if I hear from the uscis one more time all cases are different some just get approved faster, I said I thought it was first come first served basis...oh it is..then how are ppl getting approved after me..???this process makes no sense... :blink:

Yeah, like CanadaLove and Sarah, you'll probably jump right past me once you get your NOA2. My wife is dragging her feet filling out the DS-230 and getting the police certificate for some reason.

With all of the effort you put in to getting things ready for the next stage, it really sucks that you're still stuck here. But, as always, I am hoping for good news for you soon and everyone else here as well.

Jan-2009 - Met online

Mar-2009 - Became a couple

Sep-2009 - Met in person (2 weeks in Jakarta)

Jan-2010 - Denied B1 visa

Mar-2010 - Engaged

Oct-2010 - Married

Nov-2010 - Filed I-130

I put in a service request today and they actually agreed this time that I am past normal processing times. WOW! Hope I didn't just set myself up for a RFE now so they can still stall on my case.

hope u get better results than I ...they took mine and said in background contact after 6 more months...let us know what u hear..

Congrats on your approval! You are right, this process is disgusting and I can't wait till I am done with it so I can put this torture far behind me.

Let's just hope they approve the rest of you this week. Keeping my fingers crossed

USCIS: VSC (188 days)

10/04/10: Sent I-130

10/12/10: NOA1 (Received text/email with receipt #)

10/14/10: "Touched"

10/16/10: NOA1 (Received hard copy I-797C)

04/18/11: NOA2 (Received text/email):D

04/22/11: NOA2 (Received hard copy I-797C)

04/25/11: NVC received my original petition

05/05/11: Received NVC Case # and IIN; gave them our emails

05/07/11: Sent DS 3032 email

05/07/11: AOS fee invoiced and paid

Call the NVC every day until you have an NVC case number the number is 603-334-0700
