I was in a foul mood all day, mostly related to this bullcrap with USCIS. I stomped up the stairs and checked the USCIS website yet again, and what do you know....

NOTHING.

The usual.

So, I took a shower. And being OCD, I checked the website yet yet again again:

On April 26, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Finally. I'm still pissed though, ha ha.

Congrats! I gave up checking earlier today too, and just like you, 3 minutes ago I got my email and text! Were approved!!!

I received my answer from the service request and indeed in background check and said to call them if I hear no response after 180 days... :crying: :crying: so frustrated and upset..this whole process is seeming hopeless..I dont know what else to do congrats to all that have been approved...

Hang in there, I'm sure you'll get your NOA2 very soon from looking at your timeline. They received your NOA1 on Nov. 15th, so maybe later this week or next week :)

I came home stewing about not getting my approval yet, formulating just how vitriolic I should be when I call the USCIS reps and write to my congresspeople. And while my boiler was gaining steam, my phone went ping and I had a text telling me that an action had been taken.

Yes, I was still pissed too. :) I am waiting on Marju's Girl's update before I write my letter to my Senator & Representative.

Congratulations to Burbista and Jim. At least there are still applications being approved. Still hoping for the rest of you.
