I'm so happy that we can be actively participate during the NVC stage and contribute to making the process go quickly. I think that's what bothered me so much about the USCIS stage...not being able to do anything!

I am waiting for e-mail from NVC... My husband called and got our nombers. And now, as I understood, we need to wait for e-mails from NVC..

Don't worry you aren't the only one with the feeling of being left out . I have stopped checking VJ intentionally because it was driving me nuts . I can't bear to see dec approvals and not seeing ours so I won't be coming here as often as I did . I'm middle of no where as my husband isn't the kind who tells me every action he is taken so I have no clue that if he approached any congressman or not . It's sucks

Marjus'sgirl, have you called your senator since you wrote to him/her last? Try to call rather than wait for a response. I'm sure they are busy and will probably pay more attention to those who call them a little more persistently.

I definitely understand how you guys feel left out because that was me for the past month. Other oct filers were getting their approvals and I wasn't but I hung in there and eventually got mine too.

My advice is to keep calling your senators/congressperson and email your service center too. I sent VSC so many emails I think my receipt # was probably recognized by whomever processed it when they stumbled upon my file.

It breaks my heart to see you guys still waiting for NOA2's. I remember our names/dates so similar back when we first filed and I hoped to be doing all this with you all at the same time. hang in there, and try not to be discouraged. We miss you guys in NVC and are keeping some spots warm for you!

The Community Affairs Liaison for my congressman has responded by telling me that the inquiry has been sent to the USCIS and that she will email me as soon as she has any updates. Well, that's service from the government to which I'm not accustomed.

im waiting for response from my senator but i am in Albania right now so might have to wait until I get back to the states May 6th I am hoping and praying to God for a approval. Since it has taken the whole 5 months and more I am glad I visited my love I would of been by now!!

I just got my email too. I had a half-written rant earlier today but work intervened so I never got to finish and post it. 4 months and 28 days between electronic notifications. I hope Sally gets hers tonight still too. I'm not sure what time it is in Albania but she's only a couple of days ahead of me on the submission.

I am still going to write my senator though. This process is the suckiest thing I could imagine putting upon a newlywed couple and seriously needs to be fixed. The penalty is just too high for those of us following the legal process.
