Lets hope so and the government shut down is this a serious thing? i read a thread on this but i had now idea what is going on. So we will be stuck and wont be with our spouses for a LONG time? it sucks

The dates of approvals confounds me. I mean, I'm glad for anybody who gets approved, but I scratch my head over why people whose priority dates are weeks later than others get approved first. They got a jacked up system at USCIS, or I'm missing something.

I've been trying to call customer service @ 1-800-375-5283. When it prompts me to enter our receipt number, it says I did not enter enough numbers. I'm kind of confused, I entered the 10 digit receipt number that is on our NOA1. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

They seem to have continous options with long automated messages...I think I'll have my husband try again later.

We are currently at 5 months and almost 2 weeks. Driving me nuts just waiting

just the email. i didn't sign up for text message. said so in the USCIS site as well. good luck to you. hopefully your NOA2 is right around the corner as well

I think I will ask by husband to move here . The whole procedure is so hard and has no serious flow.

From what I understand about the shutdown, the length of time will completely depend on the senators/representatives getting a deal done. That could take a couple days, a couple weeks, or heaven forfend months. USCIS should still be working; however NVC and the embassies will mostly be shuttered.

It looks like they are done playing their games and a deal is done. Probably made some delays with all the federal workers reading the news about whether they will get paid next week though. That would at least explain the slow week after such a good week last week.

Getting close to that 5 month mark and I am really exhausted with this waiting around trying to be patient. I have no idea how the Fiasco people made it through this @#$!.
